Peniel Retreat Centre

Peniel Retreat Centre is a cluster of thatched rondavels set around lawns, gardens and a swimming pool. Rooms are generously sized and simply done — four-poster beds under mosquito nets, air conditioning, and windows opening onto the grounds.

There is a self-catering kitchen alongside the guest rooms, and a second, walled pool courtyard shaded by a reed pergola. It is quiet and private, and suits a group taking the place together as readily as it does a couple.
