Devil's Pool is a natural rock pool on the very lip of Victoria Falls, where a submerged rock lip lets you swim right to the edge of a hundred-metre drop and look straight down. It is, without exaggeration, one of the most extraordinary things you can do on this planet.
Access is from Livingstone Island on the Zambian side, reached by boat. Your guide walks you across the reef and holds you as you look over. Groups are small, guides are licensed, and the trip only runs when water levels make it safe.
