Victoria Falls sits on the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia, and there are several easy ways to reach it. Here is a breakdown of your options.

Flying to Victoria Falls

The most convenient option is Victoria Falls Airport (VFA) in Zimbabwe, just 20 minutes from town. It has direct flights from Johannesburg, Nairobi, Addis Ababa and other hubs. Alternatively, Harry Mwanga Nkumbula Airport in Livingstone, Zambia (LVI) serves the Zambia side.

Crossing from Zambia or Botswana

If you're combining Victoria Falls with Livingstone, the Victoria Falls Bridge border crossing takes about 30 minutes. From Kasane in Botswana (gateway to Chobe), it's around 1.5 hours via the Kazungula border. With the KAZA Univisa you can move between all three countries easily.

Getting from the Airport to Your Hotel

Pre-booked transfers are the easiest and safest option — shared or private, with meet & greet and flight monitoring so your driver is waiting even if you land late. We can arrange these alongside your stay; send us an enquiry with your flight details and we will quote you.
